Hayden was a character that was easy to fchols from the first page, because while she was a wickedly awesome snowboarder, she still had her faults and fears that any teenager could relate too.
Let’s be honest though, if there’s one thing I love almost as much as Jane Austen connections, it’s a good battle of gamez sexes. They gleefully recalled our breakup and the resulting brouhaha. But Nick was only toying with me.

Hayden also has to deal with her extreme fear of heights, which could stop her from competing at a pro level as a snowboarder. I actually recommend it to anyone that likes this genre. Overall, a fantastic read! But Hayden has doubts about Nick’s feelings because of what broke them up back jejnifer 7th grade. Jennifer Echols was born in Atlanta and grew up in a small town on a beautiful lake in Alabama—a setting that has inspired many of her books.

I am definitely becoming a very devoted fan of Jennifer Echols’s novels! Four years and a million snarky flirtatious lines later, Hayden is still crushing on the boy who broke her heart.
