I understand what she was trying to do, but there were other ways to get your message across. Looking back, I afgerburn so many regrets about that moment. I yearned to make love to her, to feel her pussy throbbing as it engulfed my dick, but that would have been a selfish act and I have never been a selfish man. The ending is extremely shocking as she promised it would be. The true craziness, however, is just beginning, thanks to a cast of characters who seem bent on botching the young couple’s relationship.
I expected it to be an erotic novel, but it was more of a romance. I have read several of Zane’s books; and although i love her erotica, sometimes its a bit of overkill for me.
I ordered Afterburn, my first Zane novel around the age of sixteen, and I must admit it had me clutching at my proverbial pearls. Not every man really lives. Amy Loves Reading Blog rated it really liked it.

Dec 14, MavLit Publishing rated it did not like it. They don’t entirely know eachother in the novel until towards the end of the novel. What did you think about this book? You can spend it any way you wish, but you can spend it only once. He thus makes it his mission to get this woman’s attention, and when he finally does they spark an exciting romantic relationship, which eventually overcomes all the odds.
One woman in particular had me disgusted and wanting to beat her ass. Feb 23, Annalicia Taylor rated it it was amazing. AfterBurn is based on love, drama, trust, and forgiveness.

In some ways, the time has passed quickly; elapsed away like I am driving through life on cruise control at two hundred miles per hour.
In short, Afterburn tells the story of Rayne, a bank employee, and Yardley a regular frequenter of the bank who embark on a affterburn journey. Price may vary by retailer. But no one ever seems to discuss the protection of the man from pain, from agony, from self-destruction.

In fact, she is so physically appealing t I ordered Afterburn, my first Zane novel around the age of sixteen, and I must admit it had me clutching at my proverbial pearls. It had nothing to do with the story. Sometimes I feel like I have been cheated but I also feel blessed to ever have known Rayne in the first place. Must redeem within 90 days.

I really enjoyed reading it but I did not like the ending! Sections of this page. They went to college together. It’s zand the read for sure it took me a few days to read it. She needed to be held, to feel secure, to feel protected.
It’s all very cliche and paint-by-numbers, and if you’ve read the whole thing once the initial surprise of the ending simply leaves you with a feeling of meh than an emotional response. Jul 05, Jen McGraw added it.
I can’t help put feel an underlined layer of homopobia in these books or at least a mindset of seeing them as “the other. It was absolutely pointless view spoiler [ to kill the heroine off in a random corner store robbery.
Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. But after barely surviving a dating disaster with her hairdresser’s brother and then falling for a member of her church band, she’s on the verge of giving up. Rayne has problems throughout the book with relationships.

Its entertaining and I know for a fact that you wouldnt want to put that book down untill you find out what happens next after next after next. This book took the time to really develop the characters which made the book so much better for me.
